Evangelistic Outreach

We are passionate about reaching out to the unsaved

Home and Urban Missions (HUM), a ministry of The Church of Pentecost, is passionately reaching the expatriates, migrants, marginalized, and unreached people groups. Since 2019, HUM has been winning souls, discipling converts, and transforming lives through evangelism, compassion, and empowerment initiatives.

The Way Forward

We exist to win and disciple the unsaved expatriates, migrants, marginalized, unreached and unengaged people groups with unadulterated word of God, giving them Hope in Christ and transforming them into agents of hope and Christ -like positive change for their communities.

Our Departments

Fulani Ministry

The Fulani people, also known as Fulbe or Pullo (as they refer to themselves), are one of the largest nomadic ethnic groups in Africa, with a population exceeding 40 million spread across the continent. In Ghana, their numbers are estimated by some sources to be close to one million.

Ministry To The Other Unreached People Groups (UPGs)

Unreached People Groups (UPGs) are defined as ethnic groups within a given country where less than 5% of the population identify as Christian, and less than 2% are evangelical. These groups often remain neglected in global mission efforts, receiving little or no intentional outreach with the gospel.

Pentecost Centre for the Study of Unreached People Groups (PCUPGs) Africa

The Pentecost Centre for the Study of Unreached People Groups (PCUPGs) Africa is a pioneering research and training institution dedicated to advancing the mission of Christ among Unreached People Groups (UPGs) across the African continent.

City Ministry

The City Ministry is a vital arm of Home and Urban Missions (HUM) that focuses on reaching the urban poor and marginalised—individuals whom political and social systems have excluded from enjoying the full benefits of society. This ministry also engages people involved in deviant or socially unacceptable behaviours, whether legal or illegal, but approaches these situations through a biblical and redemptive lens.

Pentecost Hope Centre

Pentecost Hope Centre is a specialised department under HUM that focuses on vulnerable children below the age of 18 who have left home and are exposed to life-threatening conditions in the streets, slums, and ghettos—often with little or no parental care or supervision. Pentecost Hope Centre exists to restore dignity, purpose, and hope to these children—offering them a chance at a better life anchored in the love of Christ.

Ministry To Internal Migrants

This ministry focuses on individuals and families who have migrated within national borders, often in large numbers, in search of safety, better economic opportunities, or improved living conditions. This ministry recognises that internal migrants are often overlooked in traditional mission strategies, and it seeks to give them spiritual belonging, community support, and opportunities for holistic transformation.
