Home Missions is a strategic wing of Home and Urban Missions (HUM) that focuses on individuals and communities who have migrated from their home countries to live in other nations.
In the Ghanaian context, this ministry gives special attention to non-Ghanaians residing in the country, including:
- Asians – such as Chinese, Koreans, and Indians
- Europeans – particularly English, French, and Spanish speakers
- Americans – both from South and North America
- Australians
- Middle Easterners
- Other Africans from across the continent
In essence, Home Missions seeks to reach all non-Ghanaians living in Ghana with the gospel of Christ, offering them:
- A sense of spiritual belonging
- Opportunities for worship in their heart language
- Discipleship, cultural sensitivity, and spiritual growth
- Integration into faith communities through cells or assemblies
The ultimate goal is to win, disciple, and empower them to become Christlike agents of transformation, both in Ghana and in their countries of origin or future destinations.
