Ministry To Internal Migrants

This ministry focuses on individuals and families who have migrated within national borders, often in large numbers, in search of safety, better economic opportunities, or improved living conditions.

In the context of Ghana, there is significant internal migration from the northern regions to the southern parts of the country. These internal migrants often face cultural displacement, economic hardship, and social exclusion.

HUM’s Mission:

  • To intentionally reach internal migrants with the saving message of Christ.
  • To establish assemblies or home cells where they can worship God in their own language and cultural setting.
  • To support their social development, integration, and inclusion into the broader community.

Targeted Ethnic Groups in Ghana include, but are not limited to:

  • Frafra
  • Kusase
  • Dagomba
  • Konkomba

This ministry recognises that internal migrants are often overlooked in traditional mission strategies, and it seeks to give them spiritual belonging, community support, and opportunities for holistic transformation.
