WHO WE ARE

Our Story

Home and Urban Missions (HUM), a ministry of The Church of Pentecost, is passionately reaching the expatriates, migrants, marginalized, and unreached people groups. Since 2019, HUM has been winning souls, discipling converts, and transforming lives through evangelism, compassion, and empowerment initiatives.

Our Focus Areas

Home Missions

We try to reach out to individuals within our space who are not indigenes of our nation and often considered foreigners, such as Americans, British, Asians, Oceanians, and all African migrants.

Urban missions

It focuses on disillusioned persons in the city and towns or those trapped in slums. The urban poor and destitutes include head potters, drug addicts, prostitutes, homeless, or street children.

Unreached People Groups

This aspect of the ministry strives to send the gospel to people groups which are classified as unreached or unengaged. In Ghana, there are 19 unreached people groups such as Fulanis, Kotokolis, Hausa, Challa etc.

The Outreach Ministry is the evangelistic frontline of Home and Urban Missions (HUM). It is responsible for the planning, mobilisation, and execution of all targeted evangelistic and witnessing outreaches under HUM. Core Mandate: The Outreach Ministry plays a vital role
