The Equipping Centre is the training and development arm of Home and Urban Missions (HUM), tasked with ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and implementation of all capacity-building programmes and activities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Training Logistics and CoordinationPrepares training materials and resourcesArranges for qualified facilitators or resource persons (in consultation with the HUM Co-ordinator)Organises venues, equipment, and logistics for seminars, workshops, conferences, and training sessionsHandles protocol and hospitality arrangements
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Conducts scientific monitoring and evaluation of all training programmes and capacity-building activities
- Supervises the replication and standardisation of training modules and ensures quality delivery at all levels (local, district, area, and national)
The Equipping Centre ensures that HUM personnel and stakeholders are well-trained, resourced, and empowered to carry out the mission’s mandate with excellence, consistency, and impact.
