The Secretariat Committee of Home and Urban Missions (HUM) is the administrative backbone of the ministry. It is composed of officials responsible for managing all clerical, technical, and administrative tasks necessary to ensure the smooth and effective running of HUM in line with its vision and that of The Church of Pentecost.
Core Functions:
- Administrative and Clerical Support: Manages records, correspondence, schedules, and other documentation to support HUM operations at all levels—local, national, and international.
- Information Management and Communication: Plans, directs, and supervises the flow of information, ensuring clear, timely, and accurate communication. It also coordinates feedback using standardised reporting formats.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborates with key HUM stakeholders—including Area Heads, NEC, HUM Pastors, Church Ministers, departmental heads, and committees—to facilitate effective administrative alignment.
- Publicity and Promotion: Promotes HUM’s activities through internal and external communication platforms, enhancing its visibility and making HUM a recognised and impactful name both within the Church and across communities.
The Secretariat Committee ensures that the vision, operations, and reporting systems of HUM are carried out with professionalism, excellence, and consistency.
